A spring festival featuring varied traditional customs of three ethnic
groups in northern Viet Nam is being held at the Viet Nam National
Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.
The two-week Spring Festival celebrating the Lunar
New Year (Tet) currently held at the Youth Cultural House in HCM City
has attracted thousands of visitors in just a few days.
Professional and amateur artists from dozens of
music clubs in HCM City and southern provinces took part in the Tai Tu
Music Spring Festival on Sunday night in the city''s September 23 Park in
District 1.
Nationwide, tens of thousands of monks, nuns, Buddhist followers and tourists have flocked to pagodas and Spring festivals at the beginning of the new year, wishing for peace, good weather, happiness and prosperity for all people.
